BlackBerry Bold 9700 Listed on T-Mobile Germany Bold 9700 Makes Another Appearance Ahead of Official Acknowledgment

Don't you love it when mobile phones show up on carriers' websites ahead
of being official from their manufacturers? This time it happened in
Germany with T-Mobile listing the new BlackBerry Bold 9700 without a
price but with a release date set for November.

Measuring in at 109mm x 60mm x 14mm, T-Mobile Germany advertises the
BlackBerry Bold 9700 as a Bold the size of a Curve . It comes with a
480 x 360 resolution TFT display, has a 3.2 megapixel camera with
autofocus, flash and zoom. The quadband handset (that many refer as
Bold2 or Onyx), also comes with a WiFi antennae, supports Bluetooth,
GPRS, EDGE and HSPA connectivity.

The big change however is the 1500 mAh battery which is now capable to
offer nearly 21 days of operation in stand-by and up to 5 hours of talk
time — which is a big improvement considering the 13.5 days of
standby and 4.5 hours of talk time on the current Bold model.

With all these goodies, it looks like the new BlackBerry Bold 9700 is
soon becoming the company's flagship model and the best selling handset
in the future for RIM. Certainly makes me think twice before waiting for
Nokia's E72 …
