Kohjinsha EX6 11.6-inch Touchscreen Convertible Wants to be a Netbook Looks More Like a Tablet PC

Either Kohjinsha are confused or they're trying to pull some marketing
to get our eyes on their new Kohjinsha EX6 11.6-inch touchscreen
convertible. Apparently, the company thinks that their EX6 models
(EX6KL16MA and EX6KX16MA) deserve the netbook title, but considering
what makes these lion roar we're inclined to look at it more as a Tablet PC.

Speaking of what's under the hood, although the Kohjinsha EX6 runs on an
Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor, they seem to ignore the rather large
11.6-inch display, the integrated optical drive, the touchscreen part
and the step $836 price tag — which obviously don't make this a
netbook. But call it whatever you may, the product comes with a 16GB
hard drive, boast 1GB of RAM, Bluetooth and WiFi (802.11 b/g/n)
connectivity.

You also get a DVD burner, a resistive touchscreen has a 1,366 x 768
resolution and Windows XP Home Edition to play with. Other goodies
include two USB 2.0, SDHC microSD card slots, ExpressCard 34 and front
and rear cameras.

The offering is available in US right away from Conics.
