Amazon App for Android Gets Released Fast and Convenient Way to Shop on Amazon From Your Android Phone

Amazon have just announced that their mobile application for Android
powered cellphones has just been released and is available as a free
download (via Android Market) to anyone who'd like to conveniently shop
online on the company's website. The Amazon App for Android basically
allows users to snap a photo of an item or alternatively to scan a
barcode in order to pull out a product match from the online catalog and
to access and manage a users's Wish List.

On top of that the Amazon app for Android also allows to view product
description, reviews and recommendations directly on your mobile, and
once you know what you'll be buying the whole process gets done via
Amazon's 1-Click ordering and Amazon Prime. The application also allows
for packages tracking and order modifications via the Your Account
feature, and shows you the Gold Box Deal of the Day if interested.

No word on price comparisons or stocks for the products we're interested
in, but all in one, the new Amazon app for Android seems like a nice
tool to play with if you're looking for hassle free Amazon shopping.
