First introduced as a prototype in 2008 the Viliv S7 is finally getting
green light, with the company stepping up and introducing final
specification lists and prices for one of the most craved for UMPCs of
the year. A remarkably striking addition to the ultraportable market, in
South Korea the 7-inch Viliv S7 got us hooked with a full QWERTY

and WiBro (South Korea's WiMAX).

To showcase its mobile prowess, Viliv is introducing not just one
version but a trio of models that range from the entry-level Viliv S7
I-LOG HX that comes with a 60GB hard drive, a 9.5 hrs battery and
Windows XP, to the mid-range Viliv S7 I-LOG 3X that brings in a 32GB
SSD. and of course the powerful Viliv S7 D-LOG 3X that packs an internal
DMB TV tuner. As for how much you'll have to put on the table, they'll
cost $570, $630 and $670, respectively.

Expected to ship in Korea soon, Viliv S7 is also expected to make its
international debut with a flagship model that should run on an Atom
Z550 @ 2GHz processor, with Vista and a free upgrade for Windows 7 once
the new platform is released this October.
