Samsung S7330 GT Series Cell Phone Revealed [The Poor Man’s U900 Soul?]

First details have emerged concerning Samsung's new S7330 GT Series cell
phone which, based on first impressions, appears to be a somewhat
cheaper version of Samsung's U900 Soul in offering a strikingly similar
design whilst cutting back on many of the Soul's features in order to
obtain a more pocket friendly price point.A Quad band GSM
(850/900/1800/1900 MHz) handset, the Samsung S7330 GT Series comes with
a QVGA 320ร—240 resolution 16M colour LCD primary display supplemented
by a secondary touchpad display featuring the Soul's 'Magical Touch'
DaCP and sports GPRS, EDGE, HSDPA (up to 3.6 Mbps - whereas the U900
manages 7.2 Mbps) connectivity paired with Bluetooth 2.0 +EDR, a front
mounted camera allowing for video calling and a rear mounted 3.2MP main
camera and integrated FM tuner complete with RDS.Offering a purported
battery life of up to 7 hours talktime and up to 350 hours standby,
Samsung's new S7330 GT Series cell phone is due to go on sale next month
with prices for an unsubsidised handset being touted as being in the
region of a (far from budget) $500 - that said, we expect network
providers to offer the S7330 GT at a greatly reduced price tag.
