Kodak Expand EasyShare Range with New EasyShare Z1015 IS 10MP Digital Camera Ultra Zoom Digital Cameras

Following on from the previously featured Kodak EasyShare Z1012 IS,
Kodak have announced the newest model in their ceaselessly popular
EasyShare range, the Kodak EasyShare Z1015 IS, which fits neatly into
the bridging camera category (placed between standard point and shoot
auto compacts and DSLRs) and sports a Schneider-Kreuznach Variogon
(f/3.5) 28mm wide-angle 15x optical zoom lens, a 10 megapixel sensor, HD
quality video capture capabilities and which supports ISOs up to 6400
(though only at 3.1 megapixel resolutions).

Supplied with 64MB of internal memory (of which, the small print
reveals, a mere 49MB is available for image storage), Kodak's EasyShare
Z1015 IS features all the usual suspects such as face detection
technology, optical image stabilisation and a veritable host of scene
modes as well as Kodak's Perfect Touch processing and Smart Capture
feature (further serving to automate exposure, ISO whilst also
compensating for noise and shadows) though, of course, should you wish
to stray from having the camera hold your hand you'll also find that the
EasyShare Z1015 IS also offers a host of manual options allowing you to
expose your artistic capabilities (pun wholly indented).

Due to be released sometime in September, Kodak's EasyShare Z1015 IS
will set you back around $350.
