Docking Station from JVC may be of interest as, not only will it
recharge two iPods at once, but it also offers playback from both iPods
(though not simultaneously) courtousy of the units integral speaker
units - quite who's iPod is playing at any single point in time,
however, could be a matter of contention.
Measuring 13'๏ฟฝ in width, the JVC NX-PN7 Dual iPod Docking Station sports
two illuminated strips, one under each docked iPod, which can be lit in
any one of nine colours - an interesting feature, certainly, but
somewhat trivial non-the-less - as well as an integral digital clock,
AM/FM radio tuner and a remote.
Whilst the NX-PN7 is a handy gadget if you happen to want to charge two
iPods at once, we really cannot see any other particular bonus of having
a docking station that accepts dual devices yet will only play one and
has, certainly as far as we can gather, no cross mixing capabilities.
Still, if you are looking to introduce another gadget into the home
that's sure to serve as a basis for friction as each try to make their
iPod the active device we don't doubt that JVC's NX-PN7 could be worth
the briefest of considerations. That said, if you can live without a
dual ipod docking station then, from an aesthetic standpoint alone, you
may be interested in these somewhat more desirable single iPod docking
stations as previously featured on TFTS:
