Verizon Samsung SCH-I920 Omnia II Gets Official?

A few months ago the new Samsung Omnia II was expected to release in the
US on AT T and in Canada on Rogers, well it looks like the Big Red is
interested, too. After seeing a a screenshot of a Best Buy inventory
sheet last month, word is that the Verizon's Windows Mobile-based Omnia
II superphone is going to be released (any time now) with a few upgrades
— and we got an official picture to go with it!

First thing that gets the eye is the shield design that keeps away from
the original model's distinctive cubic d-pad. Secondly, the Omnia II has
gotten a better 1500 mAh/Li-ion battery that will allow you to play on
any of those YouTube, WeatherBug, and Facebook TouchWiz widgets.

Already a standard, Verizon's Omnia II will have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
(A2DP) connectivity, adds a microUSB port and a microSD slot for up to
32GB, a 3.5mm audio jack, GPS receiver with A-GPS and an accelerometer.
However, the bad part — if you can call it that way — it's
rumored to run WinMo 6.1!
