Sprint's Samsung Instinct HD Gets Release Date and Price

Sprint has finally managed to secure the new Samsung Instinct HD on
their network. The official statement just came in today and it looks
like Sprint's Instinct HD is going to appeal to your entertainment needs
with a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, a high definition 5 megapixel
camera (and camcorder), with HD video playback (via a TV-out port) and
recording.

Coming with an attractive and intuitive user interface as well as the
high-speed connectivity on Sprint's 3G network (EVDO Rev. A), the new
Samsung Instinct HD also features a full Opera Mobile 9.7 browser, Wi-Fi
and advanced stereo Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity, an Ambient Light Sensor,
an accelerometer, a proximity sensor with haptic feedback while using
the virtual QWERTY keyboard.

Other than these, it offers easy access to social networking sites like
Facebook, Flickr and Twitter.

The new Samsung Instinct HD will be available on Best Buy starting from
September 24th, while on Sprint's retail stores the release date is set
for October 11th. As for its price, Sprint is expected to sell it for
$249.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate on a 2-year contract. Sounds a bit
steep, eh?
