Retro Styled Leica M9 and Leica X1 Cameras Leaked

Several images of what are allegedly the Leica M9 and Leica X1 cameras
were found on a Flickr page that was later locked and it seems like
the German manufacturer seems to have something up its sleeve for their
upcoming September 9 webcast event.

Upon a first glance, both the Leica M9 and the X1 model look highly
interesting.

Word is that the M9 will have a humongous full-frame 18.2 megapixel
sensor (yummy) that should appeal to a lot of shutterbugs, as well as
improved low-light performance, lesser noise in high ISO modes and also
adds an SD card and a free copy of Adobe Lightroom.

However, just as intriguing, the Leica X1 is expected to boast a
12-megapixel CMOS APS-C sized sensor, an Elmarit fixed 24mm f/2.8 ASPH
lens and a funky grip handle.
