Kempler Strauss have come up with a new mobile phone and unlike the
things its name would suggest, the Billionair 6 is not some gold covered
luxury mobile phone only meant for the filthy rich. On the other hand,
the Billionair is not a pushover either, as the GSM Quad-band 3G mobile
actually has what it takes to make for a seducing piece of technology.
Billionair 6 runs on Windows Mobile (maybe the newly announced 6.5) and
boasts a powerful 624MHz ARM processor, features a 2.8-inch QVGA TFT
touchscreen display with a 240×320 pixels resolution and an
integrated accelerometer which automatically flips the display
orientation when you turn it.
On top of that there's a 3 megapixels camera that can capture images and
videos up to 1600×1200 pixels resolution, built-in GPS, 802.11g
WiFi connectivity, a microSD card slot for up to 4GB of memory. It also
comes with a backlit trackball and slidetouch interface, Microsoft
Office Mobile, Bluetooth, and support for instant messaging and Skype.
The new Billionair 6 can be charged via USB only, and the battery
provides up to 150 minutes of talk time, and 200 hours of standby.
The phone costs $260 and is currently available for purchase.
