Acer Aspire One 532 Netbook Shipping This Month Aspire One 532 Release Date & Price Confirmed, Atom N450 & Windows 7 Starter Under the Hood

Spotted in the company's database last month, the ne
w Acer Aspire One 532 netbook has been officially announced today. A
sober and sophisticated 10.1-inch machine that impresses with its
specs, the new Aspire One 532 has the latest Intel Atom N450 processor
(Pine Trail technology) under the hood and runs Windows 7 Starter Edition.
Only 25mm thick and weighing in at 1kg, the Aspire One 532 manages to
pack enough power to get our eyes. It ships with a WSVGA, LED-backlit
display that does 1,024 x 600 resolutions in 16:9 format, sports 2GB of
DDR2 RAM memory, a 250GB hard drive and Wi-Fi. On top of that there's a
multi-card reader, a built-in webcam and optional, 3G and Bluetooth
connectivity.
Another advantage is the 93% of standard-size keyboard and the netbook's
multi-gesture touchpad that has an anti-slip micro-bead texture for a
better grip.
Priced just shy of pound sterling300 (that'd be some $485 at today's
rate) the new Acer Aspire One 532 sounds like a solid choice if you're
looking for a more powerful ultraportable. It should be in stores before
the month's end.
