Virgin Media HTC HD2 Availability Confirmed HTC HD2 Starts Selling on Virgin Mobile Starting Today

Last year in December we caught wind that Vodafone UK is going to ditch
the WinMO 6.5 HTC HD2 for general customers (only available to
business customers) and will trade it with Apple's sleek iPhone. So here
we are just a month later, trying to bring a good word to those bittered
that they can't get their hands on the popular HD2, the good folks from
Virgin Media have actually started selling the device, today.

Working on getting a bigger piece of the pie in the UK, Virgin Mobile
gifts you the new HTC HD2 but requires a signature on a 24-months
contract that will cost a good pound sterling30 per month. Other than
that, if you get yours now, Virgin Mobile is also throwing in a 3 months
free phone insurance, unlimited web access for 30p a day (only for those
days when you use it) and up to pound sterling100 free airtime if you
trade in your old phone.
The HTC HD2 is a stunning handset and the first-ever HTC-branded phone
ranged by Virgin Media , Jonathan Kini, director of mobile at Virgin
Media said in a press release announcing the launch. Its launch kick
starts a new range of high-end handsets coming to Virgin Media, perfect
for mobile internet, social networking and entertainment on the go .
For those out of the know, HTC HD2 features a 4.3-inch touchscreen
display, is powered by Qualcomm's 1GHz Snapdragon processor, offers a
5-megapixel camera with a dual LED flash, and HTC's Sense UI.
