iriver Story Coming To America Popular eBook Reader Coming Stateside, WiFi version coming Q2 2010

The iriver Story was released in the UK a few months ago to critical
acclaim, although America was left out in the cold. Yesterday at CES,
iriver announced that the Story was indeed coming to America later this
month and that a WiFi enabled version was coming sometime in Q2 2010.
introduce us Americans to the Story, it contains a 6-inch E Ink screen
and 2GB of internal memory and with an SD card reader, that can be
expanded by 16GB. Other applications of the Story (aside from the eBook
Reader) include an office file viewer, an MP3 Player, a voice recorder,
a memo pad and a scheduler. The Story can reader .pdf, .ppt, .doc and
.xls files, and .mp3 and .wma audio files.
iriver boasts a battery life of 9,000 page views. As for American
pricing – iriver's press release is intentionally vague. The
iriver Story will be competitively priced, and more details will be
released as content and retail partners are finalized, they tell us.
