Toshiba Selling One-Off Celebrity-Branded Laptops Toshiba, GQ Magazine and Celebrities Team Up To Create Laptops, Benefit Charity

Have you ever wanted an one-off laptop that was 'insipred' by Aerosmith
Guitarist Joe Perry? Well, now Toshiba is giving you the chance. This
holiday season, Toshiba is auctioning off four laptops that were
inspiried and approved by four celebrities from different fields. The
laptops all feature custom paint jobs that were approved by the
celebrities themselves.
The Toshiba Nautral Selection laptops wereย inspiredย and approved by
four different celebrities, American football player Hines Ward (from
the Pittsburgh Steelers), actor Rainn Wilson (from the USย versionย of
The Office), actor Omar Epps (from House) and musician Joe Perry (from
The Joe Perry Project, he might of been in a little band before that
called Aerosmith).
The internal specs of these limited laptops are generally off-the-shelf
Toshiba laptops, which each catered to the celebrities individual
lifestyle. For example, Hines Ward is an avid game film watcher so we
knew his laptop should have a big, crisp viewing area, Toshiba says,
and Rainn Wilson is a man on the go. Constantly blogging, tweeting and
sharing his thoughts, Rainn requires power and portability .
Only one of these custom laptops are being built and auctioned off on
eBay, with the proceeds going to a charity of the celebrities choice.
Some of the custom paintjobs are undeinably cool, but I can't imagine
using such a flashy thing everyday.
These things will likely go for top dollar, but if you want to get a bid
in for the one-off Joe Perry-approved Toshiba Qosmio X505 or any of the
celebrity laptops, keep an eye on Toshiba's Natural Selection page so
you can catch the eBay link when the auctions go up on November 27th.
