Telus Announces Officially the BlackBerry Storm2 Storm2 Available for $199.99 with a 3-YR Contract

The BlackBerry Storm2 is probably one of the best phones available at
this time but unfortunately for RIM the Motorola Droid/Milestone is
getting all the attention. The Storm2 is a great smartphone and it s
certainly a better version of the first Storm launched last year by RIM.
After we ve seen Verizon launch the phone in the USA, it s time now for
Telus to make the Storm2 available to Canadian customers. And we have
all the prices for you as Telus is willing to sell the phone both with a
new contract and off contract. The cheapest Storm2 costs $199.99 if
purchased with a new 3-year contract of at least $50 per month or
greater. This offer is available until December 31 so you ll have to
hurry to get it.
In case you want to choose a 2-year or a 1-year contract then the Storm2
will be a lot more expensive at $499.99 or $549.99, respectively. Sure
you ll say that buying a phone with a 1-year contract is actually
cheaper on the long run than buying it with a 3-year contract and you d
be right. But are you willing to pay $549.99 right now? In case you are,
then maybe a contract free BlackBerry Storm2 sounds a lot better as you
ll have to pay only $50 on top of that 1-year contract price for a total
of $599.99.
Let s go through the features and specs of the BlackBerry Storm2 one
more time for you:
3.25-inch capacitive touchscreen
SurePress technology
3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support
256MB of Flash memory
3.2-megapixel camera with autofocus
3.5mm headset jack
GPS support
BlackBerry OS 5.0
1400mAh battery
Facebook, BlackBerry Messenger and email support
HTML browsing
BlackBerry App World support
Telus Navigator
So what do you think Canadians? Are you ready to buy a BlackBerry Storm2
from Telus or are you waiting for other carriers to start selling it in
the near future?
