Subaru Impreza WRX STI Carbon Hails From Tokyo Impreza WRX STI Carbon

Although this year's Tokyo Motor Show is focusing on green cars that
cause little or no harm to the environment, some companies have used the
old recipe for car tuning, and with great success we may add. One of the
models that into our eyes with its aggressiveness is the upgraded Subaru
Impreza WRX STI Carbon — a new variant based of the A-Line model,
that gets a carbon roof that has reduced the weight significantly and
lowered the centre of gravity, for better grip while on the road.
Although a bit unusual for such a sports car, the new Subaru Impreza WRX
STI Carbon comes with a 5-speed automatic transmission that many would
say that ruins the fun of driving it. The thing is, Subaru has added the
automatic gearbox for those living in highly trafficked cities where
shifting on a 6-speed manual gearbox is a pain. That aside, under the
hood there's a 2.5 liter boxer engine that sports 300 hp and 350Nm of
torque at 6,000 rpm.
Meant as a limited edition five-door, the tuner styled vehicle impresses
with a full-suede interior with Alcantara leather covers the seats and
the dash.
We'd love getting behind the wheel of this monster.
