Spotify Mobile for Symbian Released Spotify Mobile for S60 Offers Nokia, Sony Ericsson & Samsung S60 Compatibility

Following on from the Spotify App for the iPhone and iPod Touch owners
of Symbian (specifically S60) phones can now join the Spotify revolution
thanks to a new Spotify Mobile App having just been made available for
S60 based phones.
The Spotify Mobile for S60 App, which, for those that have no idea what
Spotify actually is (where have you been?) allows users to access
Spotify s music on demand service, not only allows for direct streaming
of music but, just like the Spotify iPhone/iPod Touch App, also allows
for offline music listing thanks to its ability to cache audio tracks to
the phone s memory (meaning you can playback caches tracks without any
connection to the net whatsoever, be it 3G or WiFi).
As well as taking in a host of Nokia handsets (as one would expect,
being that this is a Symbian based application), such as the Nokia 5520,
5530 and 5800 XpressMusic phones, the Spotify Mobile for S60 also offers
support of non-Nokia handsets running the S60 OS such as the decidedly
popular Sony Ericsson Satio and the Samsung i8910 Omnia HD.
Here s a full list of the Symbian phones that are supported:

The Spotify Mobile for S60 can be downloaded for free from here however
you ll need to factor in a monthly subscription fee of just under $10 in
order to access the Spotify service (which, concerning the sheer wealth
and scope of music on offer, is hardly a King s ransom).
