Sanyo Incognito Phone Now Available from Sprint for $49.99 on Contract Sanyo Incognito SCP-6760 Messenger Phone Gets Official

Just yesterday we ve shown you the Pantech Impact, a phone ready to meet
your messaging needs which will be available in AT T stores for $99.99
with a new contract. Today we have a similar phone to show you. The
Sanyo Incognito SCP-6760 has been officially announced by Sprint and it
also happens to a phone dedicated to hardcore texters.
The Sanyo Incognito will be available starting with December 6 for just
$49.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a new two-year contract from
Sprint. The phone will be available online a week earlier so starting
with November 30 you can already buy the Incognito. Bundle it with an
Everything Data plan and you ll be good to go.
Just like the Impact, the Incognito has a screen and a touch-friendly
keypad on the outside. Once you need to send fast messages and emails
you can flip open the phone. The external OLED display and keypad will
be replaced by an internal 2.6-inch QVGA display and a full QWERTY
keyboard.
Other features include haptic feedback for the external keyboard, a
2.0-megpixel camera, music and audio features, microSD support, and,
naturally, access to the Internet. The Incognito comes with support for
Facebook, MySpace and Twitter. Sprint services like Sprint Navigator,
Sprint NFL Mobile Live, NASCAR Sprint Cup Mobile and Sprint Mobile Email
are also available. The music and video player supports AAC, AAC+, MP3
and WMA files and H.263, H.264, MPEG4 and WMV video formats. Lots of
useful features, right?
Atsushi Kodera, vice president and deputy general manager at Kyocera
Communications had this to say about the Incognito and its capabilities:
I'm sure Incognito will be topping many holiday gift lists this season.
It's such a clean, sophisticated looking phone but there are so many
features at your fingertips when you turn on the glow-through display
and open the QWERTY flip. With its amazing combination of style and
functionality for less than $50, it's about as foolproof a gift idea as
you'll see this year.
Do you agree?
