Verizon HTC Droid Eris Sighted, Two Live Shots Revealed Verizon Droid Eris by HTC Spied Ahead of Being Official

Officially, neither HTC nor Verizon have confirmed that a second member
to the Droid series, the HTC Droid Eris even exists. But from all the
leaks we have had, it is pretty much confirmed that it exists and that
it will be out on November 6 along with its bigger brother the new
Motorola Droid. However, to shred a bit of that mystery, some of the
best ninjas around, the folks from BoyGeniusReport were able to get
their hands on two live shots of the HTC Droid Eris – don't ask
how — and also gave some feedback as to how the handset performs.
According to unnamed sources, the Droid Eris by HTC feels the same as
the Sprint HTC Hero but it seems faster, slightly thinner and taller ,
and may we add, certainly looks similar. The Eris will be running
Android 1.5 along with HTC's flashy Sense UI, but since the company has
already announced an Android 2.0 upgrade for the Hero, it is logical to
assume they will do the same for the Droid Eris.
Packing a 5 megapixel camera, Wi-Fi and no hardware keyboard, HTC Droid
Eris is supposed to release the same day with the possible iPhone-killer
Motorola Droid. An earlier leak had revealed that the handset will be
priced at a mere $99 after rebates, with a 2 year contract making it the
entry-level counterpart to the Droid.

HTC is the best looking mobile, but in India it is not very popular.
