Samsung i5700 Galaxy Lite Spica Release Date Closer Android-based Samsung i5700 Hands-on Video

Although we expected the Android-based Samsung Galaxy Lite to be
released this month, about a month ago we caught wind that the handset s
release date has been pushed back for 2010. Well now after we've seen
the new Samsung i5700 Spica on video, it looks like it's more or less
confirmed for a debut next year, with exact date not yet known.

Just like its bigger brother the i7500, new i5700 Spica features a
3.0-inch WQVGA TFT AMOLED touchscreen display, Bluetooth, HSPDA and
Wi-Fi connectivity. There's a 528MHz Qualcomm MSM7200A processor under
the hood to run the Android OS 1.5, an USB 2.0 port, an accelerometer,
a 3.5mm audio jack and the Touchwiz UI. But you may wonder what makes it
different from the i7500. Well, Samsung i5700 Spica adds a 3.2 mp
flash-less camera and 100MB of internal memory — which is not that
much if you ask us!

Check out the video below and get a glimpse of the new Samsung i5700
Galaxy Lite Spica. Doesn't look bad from our shoes!
