Olympus E-P2 Micro Four Thirds Camera Leaks E-P2 Camera Makes Appearance on Olympus China Website

Although it hit the market a few months ago, Olympus' E-P1 micro four
thirds camera is getting an upgrade. Our TFTS elves have done their job
and they found that the Olympus China website has the successor, the new
Olympus E-P2, listed for the whole world to see it. Count into equation
that the company is planning an event on October 31 and there you go, we
may get an official announcement on Saturday regarding the new shooter.
Expected to feature a rangefinder and the same retro fashioned design as
the E-P1, there's not much else we know about the new Olympus E-P2 Micro
Four Thirds camera. But we can only wish for a built-in mic, built-in
flash or beefed up auto-focus mechanics for better focus during video
recording. Also if anyone cares, we'd settle with 1080p imagery (16:9), too.
For those who don't know it, the Olympus E-P1 is a mix between a DSLR
camera and a point and shoot, that features a 12.3 megapixel sensor with
a TruePic V image processor, 3.0 LCD screen (fixed, 230k dot
resolution) and does 720p HD movies.
