Dell Inspiron 13z Becomes Official in Australia Inspiron 13z With 13.3" HD WLED Screen & Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Just after seeing that the Dell Inspiron One 19 all-in-one PC went
official in Japan, we caught wind that the Aussies are getting a new
laptop, the new Dell Inspiron 13z. An attractive and powerful machine,
the Inspiron 13z runs Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, offers an
interesting mixture of processors to go with and features a 13.3-inch
High Definition True Life LED screen that boasts a resolution of 1366 x 768.

Other than being extremely thin — just under 1-inch, the Inspiron
13z laptop weighs in at only 1.79 kilos even though there's an 8-cell
long-lasting battery that promises an eight hour work autonomy. With a
choice for Intel's Pentium Dual Core SU4100, the Core 2 Solo SU3500,
Core 2 Duo SU7300 or the Core 2 Duo SU9400, the Inspiron13z comes with
2GB of RAM as standard (up to 4GB) and up 500GB of storage.

There's also an option for discrete graphics with either NVIDIA's
GeForce G105M (512MB) or the standard Intel X4500MHD chipset, the
notebook comes with an integrated optical drive (pretty sleek for its
rather slim build), has built-in Wi-Fi and optional Bluetooth. In
Australia, the new Inspiron 13z sells at AU$1,199 — which is some
US$1,100 at today's rate. We'd expect it to sell for less in the US
though …
