SSDs Active Media have just officially unveiled their latest USB 2.0 SSD
range in the form of the 2.5 � Predator X7 SSD range which takes in
32GB, 64GB, 128GB and 256GB capacities.
The new Active Media Predator X7 SSD range, which come with 128MB SDRAM
onboard caches, offer access times of 0.5ms as well as data transfer
speeds of up to 230MB/s (sequential read) and up to 180MB/s (sequential
write) speeds courtesy of their SATA-II interface, and are particularly
noteworthy as they come complete with an 8-channel JM612 controller
supporting a mini USB 2.0 port allowing end users to clone existing
drives with ease " making the Predator X7 SSD s particularly suited for
upgrading current desktop/laptop setups.
