Viewsonic VT3245, VT3745 & N4285 Full HD LCD TVs 1080p HDTVs with SRS TruSurround XT Audio Surround Sound

If you re in the market for a new LCD HDTV that won t place too much
strain on your finances Viewsonic s latest Full HD TVs, namely the 32
VT3245, 37 VT3745 and the 42 N4285, may prove of interest in offering
not only 1080p HD resolution but also integrated SRS TruSurround XT
audio surround sound processing technology.
Of the three new LCD HDTVs announced, Viewsonic s press release has
confirmed that the 32 VT3245 and 37 VT3745 both tout integrated
ATSC/NTSC/QAM digital tuners, 4,000:1 static contrast ratio, 16:9 aspect
ratio anti-glare displays and 5ms response times (that said, it
seemingly transpires that only the VT3745 offers 5ms response time
whilst the VT3245 actually only manages a pretty poor 6.5ms "
regardless of what Viewsonic s press release states) whilst also
offering onboard 3D video processing " which, we ll grant you, sounds
somewhat exciting but, in practice, simply refers to the clarity and
crispness of the images produced (so, no, these are not 3D-ready TVs).

Billed as being designed for TV or monitor use whilst being perfect
for streaming media content from the Internet, including TV shows and
movies it s interesting to note, also, that whilst this could be
understandably taken to indicate that the VT3245 and VT3745 come with
network connectivity they don t " at least not according to the spec
sheets Viewsonic have posted up separately. What they do offer in terms
of connectivity, however, is HDMI x2 (with HDCP and audio support),
RS-232 and well as RGB analog, S-video, TV/cable, composite (RCA) and
component YPbPr/YCbCr

The Viewsonic 32 VT3245 is due to shipping anytime now for around $800
whilst the 37 VT3745 is due to commence shipping from October when it
ll set you back just shy of $650.

Information concerning the Viewsonic N4285 is, at this juncture, rather
limited except to say that it offers a 42 display along with Full HD, a
dynamic contrast ratio of 10,000:1, that it ll come in at around $1,000
and that its set to hit around the same time as the VT3745.
