really small (although it has a decent keyboard) I just learned that the
new UMID mbook M2 has become official with a bunch of decent specs.
Upgrading its mbook M1 sibling, the new UMID mbook M2 comes with a
choice for either a 1.2GHz or 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor, packs 1GB of
RAM and a set of USB ports to connect easily with all your other devices
– instead of working around for a solution with different adapters.
Very much the same in terms of form factor, the M2 is now addressing the
flaws of the previous model by opening the screen up a lot further
(allowing to view what you're actually typing) and by including an
optical mouse on the right hand side of the screen (with buttons on the
left). It still got the 3G SIM card slot, a microSD port and the 1.3
megapixel camera to brag with, making the UMID mbook M2 a pretty sleek
addition reaching the market.
Packed with Windows 7, the release date is stated for either November or
December and the price will be close to $499.
