Nokia N900 Pre-orders Have Begun Nokia N900 Tablet Price Confirmed

Last week we learned more on Nokia's N900 regarding specs, a release
date and prices, but today we got to see it with our own eyes that the
N900 became for pre-order. Apparently in Italy and Germany the new
handset will sell for 599 Eur, while in the United States, Nokia US is
going to charge you $640 while throwing in a BH-703 Bluetooth headset,
to prove its generosity.
For those of you who don't remember it, Nokia N900 runs on the Maemo 5
Linux platform, features a 3.5-inch touchscreen display (800 x 480
pixels), a 5 megapixel Carl Zeiss autofocus camera with dual LED flash
(4:3 and 16:9 ratio), WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity. It comes with
up to 32 GB of built-in storage and boasts a microSD slot for expansion.

It comes with a slide-out full QWERTY keypad, is Quad-band EGSM
850/900/1800/1900, WCDMA 900/1700/2100 compatible, features 3D Graphics
acceleration with support for OpenGL ES 2.0.adds movie playback with
support for MP4, AVI, WMV and 3GP files (H.264, MPEG-4, Xvid, WMV, H.263
codecs) and audio playback for MP3, WMA, AAC, M4A and WAV files.

A great handset nonetheless, our American readers should know that
although it's a 3G device, Nokia N900 will only be compatible with
T-Mobile's 3G Network — leaving AT T customers on the outside. Not
nice and we wonder if there's a hack around that or not!
