Manomio Commodore 64 Emulator iPhone/iPod Touch App Pulled C64 App Removed from App Store due to SDK Violation

Only yesterday we reported that the keenly awaited C64 emulator iPhone
and iPod Touch app from Manomio was available from Apple's App Store
but, alas, its appearance was to prove short lived as its now been
removed and is presently unobtainable.
The reason? Apparently Manomio's C64 emulator app still came complete
with the BASIC interpreter code still intact which could be accessed via
a workaround which, its reported, results in the same issues that
initially delayed its release – that being SDK issues/violations.
Manomio for there part are reported to have stated that they were in no
way attempting to have the BASIC interpreter code included in order for
it to be accessible but had left the code in question in so that it
could later be activated via an update once, and if, the SDK issues were
ironed out.

The good news is that a revised version, which we assume to come sans
the BASIC interpreter code, has already duly been submitted and is
awaiting approval.

We have mailed our contact at Manomio to gain further insight concerning
the issues reported and we await their reply though we will, of course,
publish it here the moment its received (assuming a reply is indeed
forthcoming). Additionally we will also undertake to let you guys know
when the revised version of Manomio Commodore 64 Emulator iPhone/iPod
Touch app has gained Apple approval, once again, and made its way back
onto the App Store – hopefully this time to stay.
