Creative Vado HD 'YouTube' Camcorder Updated Vado HD Gains Mac OS X iMove Support & 4GB Variant

Creative have announced that they have updated their Vado HD compact
'YouTube' video camera with the second generation Vado HD which sees the
entrance of a new 4GB Vado HD variant aimed at the budget conscious as
well as Creative responding to (somewhat critical) user feedback in
offering full support for Mac OS X allowing hassle free transfer of Vado
HD video footage directly to iMovie via Creative's Vado Central application.

Apart from Mac OS X iMovie support and the new 4GB capacity model
– oh, and a new set of color schemes consisting of white with
green accents and black with red accents – there's little new
about the second generation video camera with Creative obviously coming
from the 'if it ain't broke don't fix it' angle so you're still looking
at 720p HD video capture (1228 x 720p) paired integrated HDMI
connectivity, the same 640 x 240 resolution LCD display as touted by its
predecessor, 2x digital zoom, H.264 AVI file format support offering
30fps recording as well as that coverted YouTube and Photobucket support
and around two hours battery life.

The 2nd Gen Vado HD video cameras are set to become available right
about now with the 4GB Vado HD, which will capture around one hour of
video footage, set to retail at around the $180 price point –
expect an amazon listing shortly.
