T-Mobile Announces US Availability of HTC Touch Pro2 Long-Delayed US Launch Set for August 12

As most of you may already know, this isn't the first availability of
the HTC Touch Pro2 as it has been in the hands of users all over the
world for some time now. There has been, however, one gaping hole in the
phone's reach and that has been the US. Today, T-Mobile announced that
it would make available the HTC Touch Pro2 Stateside on August 12. And
this time they mean it.

The Touch Pro2 will arrive bringing a 3.2 megapixel camera, AWS 3G, GPS,
a more-than-adequate 3.6-in WVGA display, Wi-Fi connectivity, and that
unique HTC StraightTalk technology that is set to make the entire
speakerphone experience a thing of joy instead of constant frustration.
Did I mention that this thing also sports a complete 5-row QWERTY
keyboard? That should have your fingers walking with due diligence.

So far, we have no information on pricing and from the looks of the
image above it might be covered in some kind of brown color that the
marketing geniuses will call cafe mocha or something like that.
