Lenovo Introduces IdeaCentre C100 All-in-one Nettop Atom-based IdeaCentre C100 With Touchscreen Display and Windows 7

Today, Lenovo have just introduced an all-in-one nettop that managed to
get our attention. Dubbed Lenovo IdeaCentre C100, the Atom-based
desktop computer comes with a touchscreen display and is going to be
released with Vista at first and will include an upgrade for the
upcoming Windows 7 that releases in October.

Lenovo IdeaCentre C100 is an affordable 20-inch all-in-one that boasts
an Intel N270 Atom processor at 1.6GHz, up to 2GB of RAM, a DVD burner
and with either an 80GB or an 160GB HDD. With these specifications the
IdeaCentre C100 is going to cost close to $400 — which is a good
price, but if you consider that you'll have to add Wi-Fi connectivity
and a webcam for additional cash, things change drastically.

More to it we're not really fond with Atom-powered desktop computers
(even if it's an all-in-one PC) and their sluggish performances, but
we'll have to wait until we get official word from Lenovo with more
info. Our thought? Take the touchscreen off and make it even more
affordable …
