EIZO Intro New FlexScan S2433W-H Professional-Grade Monitor 24-in, LCD Display, 90-Degree Rotatable Screen

When it comes to computer monitors targeting the professional market,
there seem to be two hot buttons for this picky consumer set:
energy-savings and flexibility. With the latest product offering from
monitor manufacturers EIZO, the FlexScan S2433W-H, it would seem that
they have heard their customers' requirements loud and clear. It not
only rotates it has the potential to reduce your carbon footprint with
its eco-friendly power monitoring feature.

EIZO has just announced the release of a new FlexScan LCD monitor and
this one is aimed at professional users. The 24.1-inch FlexScan S2433W-H
is a monitor that screams productivity. The LCD can have its panel
rotated at 90-degrees to allow for true portrait editing and it features
a function called EcoView that automatically adjusts the brightness of
the display depending on the ambient lighting conditions. In the case of
a large enterprise user this could mean a savings of thousands of
dollars a year in electricity costs. According to EIZO it is also able
to reproduce 96% of the Adobe RGB color space. This is a key function
for desktop publishers and graphic artists alike.

As far as specifications go, the FlexScan S2433W-H provides a native
resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, 6ms response time, 1000:1 contrast
ratio, a maximum brightness of 360 cd/m2, and has D-Sub, DVI and
DisplayPort connectors. Expected to start shipping sometime in
September, the EIZP FlexScan S2433W-H is expected to retail for about
$1,000 and it will be available in the good old corporate standby colors
of black and silver.
