Acer Veriton N260G Ultra-compact Nettop for the US Market Veriton N260G with Atom processor and GMA 4500M graphics

Acer proves that they're not only focusing their efforts on notebooks
and netbooks, the company is also out in the nettop market with their
new Acer Veriton N260G. Just announced for an US debut, Veriton N260G is
an ultra-compact nettop that was designed to fit perfectly in classrooms
or tightly-spaced offices.

It runs on Intel's 1.66 GHz Atom processor, comes with 1GB of RAM
(there's an option to double that), has an Intel GMA 4500M graphics
card, 160GB of storage and Windows XP Professional as running OS
(although there's a recovery disk with Vista, weird).

Other than the above, Acer Veriton N260G sports a multi-in-1 card
reader, has HDMI output, six USB ports, Wi-Fi connectivity, Ethernet
slot, PCIe slot and allows for VESA mounting. All packed in a screw-less
chassis for easy upgrades and maintenance, the nettop also comes with a
plethora of Acer tools — Veriton ControlCenter, and adds a
OneButton Recovery re-set pinhole that will help you restore the system
should it fail for any reasons.

The Acer Veriton N260G-U2802CP is now available in North America $399.
