ZGrip iPhone Pro for iPhone 3GS Video Handgrip for 3GS Promises 'Professional, Stable Video'

When looking to shoot some professional grade video few if any of us
would have the iPhone 3GS immediately spring to mind as the optimal
video recording device but, not withstanding this, were you to choose
the iPhone 3GS as your means of capture then you'll doubtless hanker
after stabilised video footage - and that's where this curious iPhone
3GS accessory, known as the ZGrip iPhone Pro, comes in.

Described as 'a completely adjustable and quick releasable handgrip
system for shooting professional, stable video using the iPhone 3GS' the
ZGrip iPhone Pro, which the linked product site bills as a 'completely
unique' (ie., nobody else has thought there's a market for such a
device) allows you to clip on your 3GS and you're away, feeling like a
pro, looking like a fool.

Were the iPhone 3GS at the cutting edge of video capture devices, or
even faintly comparable to camcorders, we could, perhaps, understand the
need for this contraption. But, let's face it, whilst the video
capabilities of the new iPhone 3GS are reasonable, its hardly a true
alternative to HD camcorders or, even, their lesser brethren - unless
you consider VGA resolution video a revelation.
The ZGrip iPhone Pro for iPhone 3GS is yours for $295 - and, yes, we are
serious.
