iPod Video on the Way Next Gen iPod Touch and iPod Nano to Include Cameras

For those who already know that the iPod is not just for listening to
music while you jog in the park, the fact that iPod Video is on the way
with the next gen iPod Touch and iPod Nano models, is great news. But
seeing how great the iPhone 3G S graphics are with near-HD video and
amazing basic editing software, we're already drooling in here. Rumors
have it that Apple plans to put a camera in almost all iPod models but
the Shuffle . A damn good move considering that the iPod Touch runs on
the same operating system as the new iPhone 3G S.

The iPod to include video sometime soon would obviously help rule out
those lesser-known media players which nowdays come with all-in-one
features and 2megapixel cameras. Looks like another great marketing
decision given the fact that if you want video on your iPod Touch and
iPod Nano you'll have to spend and ditch your current model, but
definitively something that triggers excitement, eh?
