iPhone 4.0 OS Speculations Begin Apple to Work on Software Application Patents for the New iPhone 4.0

Only two weeks after we learned what the new iPhone 3.0 OS is all about,
it's about time to talk a bit about the future and the goodies that
iPhone 4.0 will pack. Rumors have it that there's a list of Apple patent
applications (software related) that Cupertino may consider with their
new iPhone 4.0 firmware update for their next generation handset.
First patent should allow the iPhone to automatically switch between
'modes' depending on where you are (useing its internal GPS) and what
you are doing at the time. The application will also consider your
calendar so that if you're in a meeting it will switch to silent …
The second patent — similar with the first one — will
consider your calendar events, your location, the caller id and other
conditions so that it automatically schedules/presets communications
activities. In less words you'll be able to automatically schedule
calls, text messages, or instant messages to go out at certain times.
But the most interesting patent is the intelligent iPhone communication
software that will allow you to schedule your phone to react
differently to calls placed at different times. Flying between 7.30 and
9.30 in the morning, those calling you will know …
Apple is definitely working on making the next phone an intelligent
lifestyle device and we love watching all these transformations. What
would you want your next iPhone to feature?
