they crowd around you to watch that backflipping nunchuck stuntman on
YouTube. Am I right? Besides, who wants John from accounting breathing
his morning coffee breath down your neck? When it comes to getting
things from the small screen to the wall screen, you have quite a few
choices out there; however, your selection starts to dwindle a tad when
you are looking for a digital projector that's iPod/iPhone compatible
and that doesn't require a road crew to lug it around.
The masters of micro over at PhoneSuit are preparing to launch their
MiLi Pro iPhone/iPod micro-video projector and they are expecting that
you'll be quite pleased. The MiLi is compatible with both iPods and
iPhones and is rechargeable and its list of features is right on target:
LCOS, LED driven micro projector for 640×480 resolution images on
most any viewing surface. Up to 40-inch projection size for
eyestrain-free, relaxed viewing.
A/V inputs allow iPhone and iPod compatible players to feed AV directly
through their standard dock connectors. Includes two additional cables
for input sources, a VGA input cable and an RCA input cable.
Integrated Speakers for high quality audio output with control the
volume levels via integrated touch panel.
Rechargeable Li-polymer battery pack is removable and swappable. One
extra battery pack is included so you won't run out of juice in the
middle of that thrilling sales presentation.
The MiLi Pro is compatible with iPhone 3GS, 3G, 2G and iPod Touch and is
expected to hit the store shelves (and the phonesuit.com website) in
September. As with most of these little luminaries, you shouldn't expect
it to be able to replace your current flatscreen or wow a crowd of
hundreds at the company picnic. With a fairly limited resolution and
brightness, it is probably best suited for quick pitches and
mini-meetings. It should set you back about $300, but this is such a
small price to pay for being able to share all those home movies of your
cat at work, isn't it?
