Hannspree ST251MKB Full HD LCD TV Hannspree 25" 1080p ST Series HDTV

Hannspree, a name synonymous with some of the most distinctive TV
designs out there (examples being their Fries TV with Ketchup Remote,
these sports themed TVs and their retro space age styled Starlight) have
announced their new ST Series HDTV, the 25 Hannspree ST251MKB, which,
apart from offering up 1080p resolution, is billed as a family budget
friendly HDTV that 'enhances one's individuality and lifestyle by
providing excellent design, functionality, and quality.'

The 16:9 widescreen Hannspree ST251MKB Full HD LCD TV sports a
black-mirror high-gloss finish and what Hannspree term as 'Smile 3D
design' (good to see Hannspree, even in producing a fairly traditionally
styled TV, can still introduce some wackiness) and supports 1080p,
1080i, 720p, 480p and 480i formats. In terms of brightness you're
looking at 300cd/m2 with a contrast ratio of a none too shabby 10000:1
whilst the display also sports an anti-glare coating paired with 170
degree/160 degree viewing angles.
Additional highlights include integrated ATSC, NTSC and Clear QAM
tuners, whilst, from a connectivity perspective, there's 2x HDMI, YPbPr,
S-Video, Composite, VGA, RF connectivity - meaning the ST251MKB is
particularly well suited for hooking up external HD equipment such as BD
players and HD gaming consoles - whilst built in stereo speakers (10W
output apiece) also means the device is also perfectly suited for use as
an additional TV in bedrooms, studies, gaming rooms, et al.

Not unimpressive features aside, however, what really makes the
Hannspree ST251MKB Full HD LCD TV stand out from the crowd is its price
point which comes in at just shy of $400. It's an impressive offering
and one that's going to prove hard to ignore if you're looking for a
decidedly capable, 24 Full HD TV boasting inbuilt tuners and a wealth
of connectivity options that's not going to especially stretch the
family finances.
