Greenhouse 21.5 Full HD LCD HDTV/Monitor Greenhouse GH-JEJ223SHB

Following on from our earlier posting concerning Hannspree's latest,
budget priced Full HD display - namely the 25 Hannspree ST251MKB -
Japanese company Greenhouse have also announced a wallet friendly Full
HD display in the form of the 21.5 Greenhouse GH-JEJ223SHB LCD Display
which will happily serve as a PC monitor as well as a reasonably
featured HDTV.

Sporting a 21.5 16:9 aspect ratio screen offering a maximum resolution
of 1920 x 1080 (1080p), the Greenhouse GH-JEJ223SHB LCD Display comes
with HDMI port, making it ideal for looking up HD entertainment
equipment such as BD players and HD gaming consoles whilst its 2ms
response time will see PC gamers looking at this display as a (more
than) viable replacement for their current screen should it be getting a
little long in the tooth.

In terms of picture quality, the Greenhouse GH-JEJ223SHB LCD Display
offers up a brightness level of 300 cd/m2 with a contrast ratio of
1000:1 which, thanks to the display's Dynamic Contrast Enhancement (DCE)
technology, can be bolstered up to an impressive 100,000:1 whilst, as
far as connectivity's concerned, along with HDMI both mini D-Sub and DVI
are in evidence.

Coming with integrated stereo speakers offering 1W output apiece
(usable, but you'll probably want to opt for a dedicated audio setup
unless you intend to sit with your nose pressed against the screen), the
Greenhouse GH-JEJ223SHB Full HD LCD HDTV/Monitor, which boasts a maximum
power consumption of just 55W (due in no small part to the disappointing
output of said speakers, no doubt) is available in Japan for the
equivalent of a very budget friendly $217 (meaning you can put towards
decent ancillary audio hardware, because you're going to need it).
