BenQ Joybook Lite U102 Lightweight Laptop Heavy on Features

If you travel a lot and require the constant connectivity so commonplace
in today's world, you know the importance of having technology that fits
your lifestyle. There are plenty of small notebooks on the market, but
their sacrifice in size often comes at the expense of features. What if
you could get your hands on a feature-rich laptop that wouldn't wreak
havoc with your rotator cuff? The sultans of small at BenQ have just the
thing. The Joybook Lite U102 lightweight notebook computer is just for
you. It does away with the bulk and weight, but keeps all the key
functionality and ease of use. And did I mention it looks damn good,
too?

BenQ has just announced the release of their new Joybook Lite U102
lightweight netbook PC and at just 1.05kg/2.3 lbs it is light enough for
even the most stalwart road warrior. Powered by Intel's Atom N270/N280
processor, the U102 has 1GB RAM and a 250GB hard drive. It features a
10.1 1024×600 LCD display with LED-backlight, a 1.3 megapixel
webcam. It also comes complete with a 4-in-1 card reader to handle your
portable media needs. What about wireless connectivity, you ask? The
Joybook Lite U102 supports not just WiFi 802.11b/g and Bluetooth but
also sports optional 3.75 HSUPA connectivity.
While we don't have word on when it will be available to the masses, it
has already dropped in Thailand, China, and Taiwan. So we can hope that
the rest of us won't be left out in the cold for too long. Full specs
and even more cool shots of this shiny black beauty are available at
www.benq.com. Retail pricing TBD.
