producing ever more compact devices that, certainly in terms of audio
entertainment systems, act to increasingly embrace digital audio file
formats, Kenwood's CORE-A55 Prodino Mini Digital Audio System is
certainly up against some particularly stiff competition (from the likes
of Sony, for example) but we don't doubt that the CORE-A55 Prodino will
prove particularly popular for those looking for space saving digital
audio solutions. Besides that, it's a Kenwood (a brand that positively
oozes quality). The Kenwood CORE-A55 Prodino, which measures in at a
compact 82 179x154mm and which is set to become available in Japan at
the beginning of November, sports SD/SDHC/miniSD/microSD/microSDHC
memory card compatibility courtesy of an integrated card reader,
supports MP3, WMA and AAC digital audio file formats and, additionally,
also offers USB 2.0 connectivity allowing you to play music directly
from USB memory fobs and, in terms of output, you're looking at a total
of 20W.
The Kenwood CORE-A55 Prodino Mini Digital Audio System, which,
incidentally, can be hooked up to an iPod dock (available separately),
will retail for around ยฅ45,000 (circa $600)
