World’s First Swimming Powered by two AAA Mask with Integrated 5MP Digital Camera [Snorkellers Say ‘Cheese’, And Drown, Possibly)

Whilst there are a host of underwater cameras currently available - such
as the previously featured SeaLife SL321 ECOshot - these, in the main,
tend to be hand operated but, for those that want to leave their hands
free (to swim, for example, or gesticulate in sheer terror as a shark
swims by) this swimming mask with integrated digital camera, billed as
the world's first, could be the answer.

This Digital Camera Swim Mask comes complete with inbuilt 5 megapixel
camera mounted just above and between the eyes, allowing you to
perfectly capture anything you see of interest (crosshairs on the mask's
eye pieces assisting you in the process of framing), and is operable to
depths of up to 15 feet.

Offering 16MB of onboard memory, which is sufficient to capture 30 high
quality 1560 x 1920 resolution shots or a whopping 52 seconds worth of
video, with an LED display within the mask giving you visual feedback
concerning which mode your mask is currently in, further storage
capacity can thankfully be gained courtesy of the mask's microSD memory
card slot with the resulting imagery being easily transferred by USB
connection to your PC/Mac for posterity.

Powered by two AAA batteries, the Digital Camera Swim Mask retails for
just shy of $100.
