BenQ C36 Music Phone Offers Scheduled FM Recording, Web Cam Functionality [Successor to BenQ C30 Cell Phone]

BenQ have launched their latest cell phone, the C36 Music Phone
(successor to BenQ's C30 handset) which, according to BenQ, offers
'enhanced multimedia functionalities' as well as an upgraded 1.3
megapixel camera - which can also serve as a webcam - and a 'specious'
2' 176 x 220 resolution 262K colour LCD display.

Supporting AVI video recording and playback, BenQ's GSM 900 C36 Music
Phone - which measures in at 108 x 47.2 x 14.2mm - naturally offers an
integrated digital music player supporting MP3, WAV, MIDI and AMR
formats as well as offering a built-in FM tuner with recording and even
scheduled recording functions.

Battery life is stated as being up to 180hrs standby and 2.4hrs talktime
and, out of interest, the C36's specifications (see below) also makes
reference to a 'Health Management (BMI, Menstrual)' application - but
we are unable to fathom quite what this entails. An interesting
(curiously bizarre) addition none-the-less.
