Acer Intro New Business (B-Series) & Value (V-Series) LCD Displays

Acer have expanded their range of LCD monitors with their new B-Series
and V-Series displays aimed at business users and those looking for
capable (it not especially inspiring)ย budget/value displays
respectively with pricing starting at a mere $205.

Aimed squarely as business/professional use, Acer's B-Series comes in
six sizes consisting of the 17'� B173 and 19'� B193 4:3 aspect ratio
displays and the 19'� B193W, 20'� B203W, 22'� B223W and 24'� B243W 16:10
widescreen displays with the widescreen models featuring Acers FlxArm
technology allowing for easy adjustment of each screen's height, tilt,
swivel and rotation to ensure optimum viewing angles whilst all B-Series
models come with VGA and DVI inputs - of which the 20'�, 22'� and 24'�
models offer HDCP support.

Each model in the B-Series also sports 5ms response time, come with
Acer's Adaptive Contrast Management technology and offer between 2000:1
and 3000:1 contrast ratio dependant on screen sizing.

Acer's V-Series, on the other hand, is purportedly aimed at the budget
conscious, and consists of two 4:3 aspect ratio models with 17'� and
19'� displays and three 16:10 widescreen models offering 19'�, 22'� and
24'� displays. Each sports a detachable stand allowing for easy
relocation (though, arguably, the majority of us have little cause to
uproot our displays with particular regularity) and offer 5ms response
time paired contrast ratios of up to 3000:1.

Whilst available inputs of the V-Series monitors are not detailed, the
very fact that no mention of integrated DVI connectivity is made in
Acer's press release leads us to assume that just bog-standard VGA
connectivity is on offer.

Pricing of Acer's new B-Series displays is detailed as being $205 for
B173, $249 for B193, $229 for the B19W, $249 for B203W, $269 for B223W,
and $399 for B243W whilst pricing of the the V-Series begins at $185 for
the V173, $229 for V193, $199 for V193W and $249 for V223W.
