Sony PSP Lite Gets New Bronze (Brown) Colour Scheme – Limited to Japan, Thankfully

Following on from the still as yet unsubstanciated reports (at the time
of writing) that Apple is to release a purple version of its iPod Nano,
Sony have revealed a bronze version of its PSP and, though the idea of a
purple Nano really does nothing for us the prospect of owning a brown
(sorry, bronze) PSP fills us with dread.

Purportedly to be made available in the form of a new PSP Lite Value
Pack reports indicate that this brown bronze PSP will come supplied with
a meagre 32MB Memory Pro Duo memory stick and an AV digital cable and
will retail in Japan for the equivalent of around 147 / $224 / pound
sterling113 though thankfully for us living outside of Japan there are,
at the time of writing, no reports of the brown bronze PSP being made
available to the non-Japanese market.

Quite what Japanese consumers have done to deserve a brown bronze PSP
wholly eludes us but, just for the record, we have it on good authority
that they would like to say sorry for whatever it may have been and that
they promise never to do what ever it was again, ever.
