D-Link DPG-1200 PC-On-TV Wireless Media Player Brings PC & Internet Media to Your TV

D-Link have just made their new DPG-1200 PC-On-TV Wireless Media Player
available which, apart from allowing you to view PC based media on your
regular TV, also facilitates remote web browsing and offers what D-Link
describe - somewhat curiously - as the facility to 'experience your
media and Internet video like never before' (Really?).

The DPG-1200 PC-On-TV Wireless Media Player works by simply streaming
content stored on your PC - control of which is provided by the supplied
remote control handset - thus negating the need to ensure compatibility
with a vast array of file formats and can be connected to your TV via
RCA and VGA component inputs.

Thanks to network connectivity, control of any networked PC or laptop is
on offer allowing you to stream content wirelessly throughout your house
to the comfort of your front room - for example, the device will allow
you to watch the latest YouTube videos, access your MP3 library or bore
friends and extended family senseless with countless holiday snaps
(worth the price of admission alone, if you ask us), all without a cable
in sight.

D-Link DPG-1200 PC-On-TV Wireless Media Player Features:

Use Your Television to Watch Movies, View Photos and Listen to Music
that is on Your Desktop or Notebook Computer
Use the Remote to Control Your PC Remotely and Play Movies or Launch
Applications like You Would with a Mouse
Stream Video, Photos and Music Wirelessly from Your Desktop or
Notebook Computer to Your TV

Supporting 802.11g, 802.3u and TCP/IP and capable of supporting
resolutions of up to 720 x 576 for video or 1280 x 720 for photos, the
DPG-1200 supports WPA/WPA2 and WEP network security protocols and is
retailing for around $240.
