The Key to Copyrighting

Why would you want to add that copyright symbol to your Web page? Well, by copyrighting material, you essentially give the world notice that it's yours--that is, the photograph, text, or art you posted on your Web site is something that you own, and others can't use it unless they have your permission. Better safe than sorry--you certainly don't want to find your masterpiece all over the Web with nothing to show for it!
