Guarding Against a Virus in Outlook Express 6

Outlook Express 6 offers you a way to guard against e-mail virus attacks by way of attachments. Note that this is far from a perfect method, but it can help--and it's better than no protection at all. To enable this virus protection, run Outlook Express 6 and choose ToolsOptions. When the Options dialog box opens, click the Security tab. Now, select the check box labeled "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus." Click OK to close the dialog box and continue working with Outlook Express.
