About Data Access Pages

Data Access pages, new to Access 2000, are the easiest way to create dynamic Web pages. Displaying and entering dynamic data is now as easy as creating a form. But there are a few things you should know before you try to take advantage of this new object:
* You (and users) must have Internet Explorer 5; Data Access pages won't work in earlier versions. * You (and users) must have a license for Office 2000.
In addition, the actual pages aren't stored in your MDB file. The item you see in the Database window is just a shortcut to the HTML file. To learn the file's location, select the page in the Database window and allow your mouse to hover over its name. Access will display a ToolTip showing the object's path. If you rename a page, Access simply updates the shortcut item in your Database window. Access won't rename the actual HTML file.
