Western Digital My Passport Essential SE WD My Passport USB Portable Hard Disk Hits 1TB Capacity

Western Digital have release the latest iterations of its seemingly ever
enduring My Passport portable USB hard drive range with the addition of
the new Western Digital My Passport Essential SE 750GB and 1TB capacity
models (known specifically as the model number WDMET7500 and WDMET10000
respectively).
The new 750GB and 1TB capacity My Passport Essential SE hard drives come
with a new 'titanium silver finish' and, apart from offering what WD
refers to as 'big capacity that fits in your pocket' come with 128-bit
encryption capabilities (Windows based systems only) as well as data
syncing and, thanks to drawing power solely from you computer's USB port
you won't have to lug an AC adapter around with you (which is
undoubtedly a bonus).
The enormous capacity of these new My Passport Essential SE drives
makes them the perfect travel-friendly storage device to hold all the
rich media content generated by higher resolution photos and HD videos
and music, said Dale Pistilli, vice president of marketing for WD's
branded products group. Carrying digital files close at hand continues
to be a growing consumer interest and this new drive offers a sleek and

Both of the new 750GB and 1TB capacity Western Digital My Passport
Essential SE portable hard drives are available as of now and will set
you back around $200 and $300 respectively.
